BIG Brother voiceover man Marcus Bentley – famous for telling viewers what day it is on the show – now has his own home studio to record the famous announcements.

From the minute Big Brother started back in 2000, Marcus' voice became synonymous with the programme.



Marcus regularly updates his Instagram account with pictures and videos that give a sneak peek into his job.

Last month he gave fans a glimpse into his home recording studio as he prepared to voice the Big Brother reboot.

The room boasts pristine white walls and a large window – making it the perfect place to go through his lines.

To ensure his voice is as clear as possible, he has all the latest equipment including a microphone with a pop filter.

Fans were delighted to hear Marcus was returning for the Big Brother reboot after five years away.

An insider said at the time: "It was a no brainer to have Marcus back for the new era – he is simply the voice associated with Big Brother UK."

Breaking the news to his fans, Marcus shared a video on his social media, adding on X (formerly known as Twitter): “[Big Brother] fans are the best and most loyal possible.

Marcus has been the narrator of the programme since its very first episode all the way back on Channel 4 in 2000.

He stayed with the popular reality series during the changeover to Channel 5 and recorded the voiceover up until its last run in 2018.
