Matt Hancock triggered huge uproar last year when he announced he'd be taking part in the 2022 series of I'm A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!.
And telly lovers were left equally shocked when earlier this month it was revealed he was in the line-up to appear in the incoming series of Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins – arguably the most arduous and gruelling reality show in British TV.
Former MP Matt's reality TV stint comes after he resigned from his role as health secretary videoed stealing a kiss with his aide, Gina Coladangelo.
Both were married and had kids, and after The Sun revealed the shocking footage, Matt was forced to issue an apology and step down.
At the time, he said: “I want to reiterate my apology for breaking the guidance, and apologise to my family and loved ones for putting them through this. I also need [to] be with my children at this time.”
Whilst Matt was working through the Covid pandemic, he gave glimpses of his homes, both in London and in Suffolk, while doing public appearances from home.
From these appearances, viewers were able to get a glimpse into his family home that he shared with his now ex-wife and three children.
While he held the post as Health Secretary, Matt spent his time in both London and Little Thurlow in West Suffolk, which was his constituency, meaning he had two homes.
When Matt appeared on This Morning via video link during the pandemic, he unveiled a home office area in his Suffolk home, featuring cream walls and a large house plant and side table behind him.
The most surprising feature, though, was an enormous blue and pink circular portrait hanging on the wall, thought to be Damien Hirst’s spin painting of the late Queen — the only portrait of the monarch the British artist has ever made.
The artwork is so big that it seems to take up the height of the wall from the top of the table behind Matt, to the top of the wall.
Matt previously shared another look at the painting when he took to Twitter to share a video in support of the NHS workers fighting coronavirus on the frontline, and revealed that it is almost as tall as Matt himself.
Here, Matt revealed that the side table behind him is where he keeps framed photos, as well as a pair of boxing gloves.
While filming himself in a different place in the same room, it became clear that the home office space was part of the dining room as Matt was sat by the dining room table.
Furniture in the room went in a beige colour scheme with the pink and blue portrait of the Queen sticking out as a feature.
Behind him, there are wooden panels on the wall, and a small wooden bookshelf where Matt keeps frames and ornaments on top. Two framed photos hang on the wall.
Interestingly, his London home has a completely different interior design.
His office space in London has red walls, floor to ceiling bookshelves on one wall, and another selection of photos hanging in black frames behind him. The opposite wall is taken up almost entirely with framed photos.
Matt and Martha separated in 2021 following Matt's affair with Gina, and Martha left the London home they shared together. It is not know what happened with their shared house in Suffolk.
