Is Chloe Harris leaving Emmerdale? | The Sun

CHLOE Harris is at the core of speculation after a horrific car crash earlier this week.

With Super Soap Week drawing to a shocking close, Emmerdale fans are wondering if she could meet a tragic end.

What happened to Chloe Harris in Emmerdale?

As mentioned above, Chloe was involved in a devastating car crash after trying to get revenge on Charity Dingle and Mackenzie Boyd (respectively portrayed by Emma Atkins and Lawrence Robb).

Prior to the accident, Chloe found out that her beau had slept with his estranged wife Charity behind her back and was incandescent with rage.

Chloe and Mack had made plans to leave the eponymous ITV village together for a getaway to Scotland before eventually moving there permanently.

But when Chloe caught Charity with a bad tire outside the village, she decided to act out by giving her a lift.

The young mother hatched a plan and decided to ditch Mack and Charity in the middle of nowhere to teach them a lesson.

Unfortunately, her plans were thwarted when a white van crashed into her car, sending it flying across a field and straight to the edge of a cliff.

Mackenzie came to realising their vehicle was on the verge of being tipped forward and into the emptiness but he was soon hit with a real dilemma as Charity and Chloe's lives depended on him.

In a shocking twist, Mackenzie chose to save Charity, leaving Chloe to die in the car as it fell off the clifftop.

Awash with guilt, Mack was comforted by Charity and the pair searched the car wreck to find Chloe.

With her life hanging on by a thread as she was impaled by shrapnel during her dramatic fall, Chloe was airlifted to hospital for emergency medical treatment.

She was then seen placed in an induced coma while Mack sat by her side.

Is Chloe Harris leaving Emmerdale?

When the car stunt was first teased, viewers of the Yorkshire-based soap immediately jumped to the conclusion that Chloe would die as they were certain Mack still harboured feelings for Charity.

The lingering chemistry between the former spouses were confirmed but with Chloe surviving the crash and the car's subsequent fall, anything could happen to her.

As mentioned above, Chloe was placed in a coma upon her arrival in hospital.

Mackenzie was also told that, while she survived her surgery, she may have suffered brain damage and her future in the Dales remains uncertain.

While many soap fans speculate she could die in hospital, others are hopeful for her and have speculated she could wake up from her comatose state and get revenge on both Mackenzie and Charity once and for all.

But has the actress who portrays her said anything about Chloe's fate?
