With two celebrities having already quit this year's I'm A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here, ITV bosses are said to fearing more contestants could be set to exit the jungle.
Grace Dent became the first campmate to exit on Monday, 27 November, followed by Jamie Lynn Spears, who left on medical grounds on Wednesday, 29 November.
Things are beginning to get tougher in the camp, with celebrities struggling to win stars at Bushtucker Trials and rain continuing to pour. Sources say campmates are "miserable" and "wanting to leave", despite having only been in the jungle for just over one week.
"The weather in the jungle this year has been terrible. The campmates have had barely one full day of sunshine and have had to contend with endless rain which has only made the already gruelling living conditions worse," a source told MailOnline.
They added: "The weather has really affected the mood in camp. Everyone is miserable and wanting to leave."
Things got even worse in camp when Nella Rose and Frankie Dettori returned empty handed from their Bushtucker Trial, after failing to win any stars for camp.
A source told The Sun: "Nella and Frankie's trial fell flat. No coins or stars. What’s worse backstage is it was a two-month build to create that set and it’s resulted in a s*** trial. Her going back empty handed — and this awful weather — have left a real sense of misery."
Jamie-Lynn, 32, had expressed her desire to leave the jungle on several occasions, but had appeared to begin enjoying her time on the show in recent days. However, ITV released a statement on Wednesday confirming she'd left the show.
An ITV spokesperson confirmed: "Jamie Lynn Spears has left I'm A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! on medical grounds. She's been a fantastic campmate who has triumphed at trials and bonded well with her fellow celebrities."
She followed food critic Grace, 50, who also left on medical grounds on Monday and jetted back to London immediately after her departure.
"Unfortunately Grace Dent has left the show on medical grounds. She has been a great campmate and will be missed by her fellow celebrities and viewers alike," ITV's statement read.
Sam Thompson, Josie Gibson, Fred Sirieix, Tony Bellew, Frankie Dettori, Marvin Humes, Nella Rose, Danielle Harold, Nick Pickard, Nigel Farage all remain in the I'm A Celebrity jungle.
The first eviction of the series is due to take place on Sunday, 3 December, with the public choosing who will be the first celebrity to be vote
