ITV I’m A Celeb’s Josie Gibson hits out at ‘selfish’ people – as she prepares to enter camp

This Morning favourite Josie Gibson has already touched down on Australia's Gold Coast ready to take on the I'm A Celeb jungle and all it has to offer, but she won't stand for any camp drama.

Before entering she has confessed to hating "selfish" stars with "big egos" ahead of her explosive entrance this Sunday evening, 19 November.

The blonde beauty, 38, will join plenty of famous faces in camp including Britney Spears' sister Jamie Lynn and JLS singer Marvin Humes, plus Made in Chelsea's Sam Thompson and Nigel Farage to name a few.

Josie had made no secret of what fans of her and I'm a Celebrity can expect from her in the coming weeks. She said on a recent episode of This Morning: "I am quite known for taking on a challenge on This Morning… I don't like to say 'no', but I think I might have gone a bit too far with this one."

She continued: "I love people so I'm alright about sharing a camp with loads of other celebrities.

"If somebody has got a big ego that would rub me up the wrong way. I can't stand people that are too selfish. You've gotta care more!"

TV presenter and radio host Sian Welby also revealed on the show, when chatting to Alison Hammond and Craig Doyle, that she might have a sneaky idea what Josie's first task will be – and who she's doing it with.

She said: "It's all a little bit of speculation, but I have heard that Josie has her first challenge with Nigel (Farage) and YouTuber Nella Rose.

"What I've heard is that they've been spotted like 2000 miles from the camp. This is a never-before-seen challenge. It's totally different.

"They're in the dessert, almost, it's 40 degree heat!"

Meanwhile, Josie's telly bestie, Alison Hammond has spoken out about how much she'll miss Josie and that they "speak nearly every day" – even asking her to "smuggle in a burner phone."

Alison said: "It's actually made me emotional because I speak to Josie nearly every single day… I can't speak to her!"

Loyal Josie fans believe that she's made an error in revealing her fears in her jungle intro, citing insects and heights as her worst. Fans now think this will mean she'll see plenty of trials involving these very things.

One said: "Never say you are scared of spiders – they be leashing them at you all season," while another warned: "You should never have said that."
