Nigel Farage chats about risks of entering I’m A Celebrity
It looks as though former politician Nigel Farage is being thrown straight into the deep end as he tackles one of the first trials on I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here!
On Sunday night, ITV viewers will see the 59-year-old arrive in the Australian jungle where he’ll meet campmates Josie Gibson and Nella Rose for the first time.
However, their introductions are cut short as the trio learns that the other campmates, who are 2000 miles away on the Gold Coast, need their help.
To try and win time for the other contestants, who are taking part in other challenges, the three of them get stuck into the first gruesome trial of the series.
As they search through gallons of sticky gunk and brave scary hellholes in a bid to score tokens for time, will they be able to score enough time for their other campmates?

Although it looks as though it’s no easy task as Nigel is seen grimacing waist-deep in gross sludge while Nella is screaming trying to win extra time.
Elsewhere on the Gold Coast, stars Sam Thompson, Danielle Harold, Fred Siriex, and Grace Dent make their I’m A Celeb debut in helicopter style.
Meeting hosts Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly on top of a skyscraper, it isn’t long before they learn what their first challenge entails.
Two at a time, they’ll have to descend a ladder down the side of an eye-wateringly high building.

Then they’ll have to inch their way sideways along the building, before sliding down to a huge horizontal flag pole.
Lying down on the pole and crawling along, they’ll be up against the clock as they have to race to unclip carabiners along the pole to release their star-print flag.
However, viewers will have to wait until Sunday night to find out how the celebrities got on for their first tasks.
Ahead of entering the jungle, Nigel hopes people will change their perceptions of him after watching him get stuck into the tasks, trials and challenges the show has to offer.
Ahead of entering he said: “I am hoping those who hate me might hate me a little bit less afterwards. But it’s a gamble.
“And the idea that somehow the things I represent – mean-spirited, small-minded, nasty, the ‘little Englander’ – all those accusations that have been flung at me over the years just aren’t true.
“If we can dispel some of those misconceptions, then that will be a good thing too.
Joining Nigel in the jungle is Jamie Lynn Spears, Nick Pickard, Josie Gibson, Fred Sirieix and Nella Rose.
Danielle Harold, Sam Thompson, Marvin Humes and Grace Dent are all also taking part.
