THE RI-RICH LIST

Rihanna, Kim K & Jay Z make Forbes billionaire list as huge star drops off

It marks Jesy's second solo single following a series of delays that saw her part ways with her record label Polydor Records.

Jesy's debut single, Boyz, featured US rap superstar Nicki Minaj, with many critics hailing the A-list guest feature for the girlband star's first track.

Although the song fared well there has been apprehension toward Jesy's next release which comes almost a year and a half after her last solo release.

The Sun previously revealed Jesy's intention to release the single, Bad Thing, after we confirmed that the star had shot a music video to help promote the record, earlier this year.

A source told The Sun at the time: “Jesy loves being creative in her music videos and is throwing herself into channelling her mum, and playing the role of someone who falls in love with a guy who ends up in prison.

“It’s a really meaningful track for her and the lyrics are personal.”

Jesy will play her mum in the music video after delving into her painful past for solo material.

Another source added more detail to The Sun, saying: "The video is set in the 1970s and is based around the story of how Jesy's mum met her dad.

"Jesy plays her mum and they shot in old East End pubs and a jazz club to recreate their love story.

"At first it's really romantic, but then you see him with his mistress, then her crying at home after he fails to come home for dinner.

"There are fights, gaslighting, shocking scenes.
