Kat Slater (Jessie Wallace) might not make it to the church on time to marry Phil Mitchell (Steve McFadden) in EastEnders, after Alfie Moon (Shane Richie) coaxed her onto a boat, which ultimately got stranded in the middle of the canal.
Alfie made his long-awaited return earlier this week, leaving Kat in shock as he turned up on her wedding day hoping to win back her affection.
Kat ordered him to leave at once, but Alfie refused to do so, and was basically all of us as he questioned her about why on earth she wants to marry Phil.
Honestly, fans have been asking the same thing since Kat and Phil first got together.
But despite Alfie talking a lot of sense, Kat made it clear that she intended to go ahead with the wedding, and thus demanded yet again that Alfie eave her alone.
Respecting her wishes, Alfie did just that, but he soon got a shock when – upon arriving at the canal – he checked the back of his van to find Bert and Ernie inside.
The former market trader then formed a plan, as he told Kat about her children’s whereabouts, hoping she would come and retrieve them.
The bride-to-be ultimately did just that, but Bert and Ernie refused to listen to her as she ordered them off the boat – and thus she climbed onboard to take them home herself!
Alfie, meanwhile, started the engine, much to Kat’s horror, as she accused him of kidnapping her.
Upon reaching the middle of the canal, Alfie stopped the boat and spoke to Kat, trying one final time to make her see that Phil is not the man she’s meant to be with.
Kat, however, once again reiterated her intention to go through with her wedding, leaving Alfie upset, as he came to believe he’d lost the love of his life for good.
Subsequent scenes saw Alfie attempt to do as Kat wished, as he made an effort to restart the boat – but to no avail!

Kat was left in shock as she came to realise that she might actually miss her wedding.
Will Alfie get the boat started? What’s more, will Kat make it to the church and marry Phil?
Or will she realise that – despite his outlandish methods – Alfie has a point?
EastEnders will air this episode on Tuesday September 13 at 9:30pm on BBC Two, and this week’s episodes will be available to stream on BBC iPlayer at 7:30pm each night.
