Kevin Hunter Banned Tyrese Gibson From Wendy Williams’ Show Over Jealousy

Meanwhile, the ‘Fast and Furious 9’ actor opens up about his custody battle with ex-wife Norma over their 12-year-daughter Shayla during his appearance after three years on the show.

AceShowbizWendy Williams made a shocking revelation during the Wednesday, October 23 episode of her talk show. In the episode, which saw actor Tyrese Gibson as a guest, the 55-year-old host called out her ex-husband Kevin Hunter for banning Tyrese from the show over jealousy.

Wendy explained the matter during her “Beauty Finds” segment, where she went off-script to launch her ex’s dirty laundry. “Tyrese — you were supposed to… he hasn’t been here in three to four years, right? I’m like, ‘Where have you been?’ And he goes, ‘Your husband banned me because he thought I was flirting with you.’ “

Upon the revelation, the audience couldn’t help but give a big reaction to that through a lot of gasps and looks of disbelief. “Are you serious, Kevin? Are you serious? Who are you flirting with?!” Wendy continued saying of Kevin while making a gesture of baby bump with her hands.

Kevin used to serve as executive producer on “The Wendy Williams Show” before he was fired after Wendy filed for divorce from him over cheating scandals. He had a child with his alleged mistress Sharina Hudson while still being married to the TV personality.

Meanwhile, Tyrese opened up about his custody battle with ex-wife Norma over their 12-year-daughter Shayla. “When you have a child and then there’s a situation where there might be a conflict — when you have your approach to raising a child and they have theirs, sometimes you’re far from being on the same page,” the “Fast and Furious 9” actor shared.

“No one wakes up every day and says, ‘Where’s pain, where’s trauma, where’s conflict and I want to stay in it.’ You can be with someone for a long time and then when you finally get married, you realize, that it was not the right thing to do,” the “Black and Blue” star continued.
