It’s hard to believe Gary Windass (Mikey North) spent years being a Coronation Street villain.
In case you need reminding, Gary was responsible for the Underworld roof collapse which led to Rana Habeeb’s death, and also murdered Rick Neelan and buried his body in the woods shortly after.
In a bizarre twist that we’ll never really understand, Gary has never faced proper consequences for Rana and Rick’s deaths, with the ITV soap opting to give him a redemption story instead.

While Gary’s secrets remain dead and buried, his angry and violent side often has a habit of resurfacing.
Coming up, Dylan (Liam McCheyne) and school bully Mason (Luca Toolan) poke fun at Liam (Charlie Wrenshall) while he struggles with his asthma.
This is spotted by Gary, who is unimpressed by the exchange.
In the week, Mason hands Liam and Dylan some disposable vapes. Dylan feels unwell after trying it and when Liam does, he suffers an asthma attack.
Realising it’s serious, Mason does a runner and leaves Dylan to call an ambulance.
While in the hospital, after discovering that Liam is hanging out with Mason Radcliffe, Gary tells Maria that the Radcliffes are a notorious family and that Liam needs to stay well clear.
But when Liam returns home, he receives a text from Mason threatening to beat him up if he snitches on him.
If things escalate, will Gary find himself getting involved?
