Kim Tate in danger as her killer secret discovered by enemy in Emmerdale | The Sun

CRAIG Reed was found dead on the Home Farm estate and the culprit is roaming free.

Kim Tate grows increasingly nervous next week when her arch nemesis in Emmerdale notices she's keeping a secret.

The CEO's death caused shockwaves throughout the ITV Dales but after Sam Dingle's arrest, the case was seemingly swept under the rug.

Viewers of the Yorkshire-based drama will remember that Craig Reed was trampled by Kim Tate's horse Ice when he begged for her help after suffering a beating by Cain and Sam Dingle.

Ice was freed into the woods, thus allowing Kim Tate (played by Claire King) to secure her alibi but, in order to keep a secret, she's had to rely on former foe Cain Dingle (Jeff Hordley).

The pair agreed to stay silent about the events that led up to Craig's death, thus closing the chapter of Lydia's rape storyline and allowing her to finally heal from her trauma.

Later on, Caleb taunts Kim about the circumstances of Craig's death and she warns him to back off but he knows he has managed to get under her skin.

Kim then offloads to her husband Will Taylor (Dean Andrews) about Caleb in the Woolpack bar.

Unbeknownst to her, Caleb is lurking in the background and eventually manages to overhear an incriminating phone call between her and Cain.

A suspicious Caleb tells his son Nicky Milligan (Lewis Cope) of his assurance that Kim had something to do with Craig's death but he's also worried about Cain's involvement.

Once he finds his half-brother, Caleb probes him about Kim's potential involvement in Craig's death.

Cain is fearful of how close Caleb is to the truth, fearing he may turn his back on them and report their deception to the authorities.

What will he do?

Could he tell him everything?

While his relationship with Cain has remained somewhat stable in recent weeks, Caleb and Kim have a chequered history.

Caleb wormed his way into Home Farm by becoming Kim's business partner when he first appeared in the village.

It was then revealed he had much bigger plans for the businesswoman as he is Frank Tate's illegitimate son.

The schemer planned to take the Tate family fortune for him, believing he was entitled to it more than Kim, and he enlisted the help of his son Nicky, pushing him to seduce Gabby Thomas and marry her – despite him being gay.

Caleb and Nicky's plan came to light on the latter's wedding day as he revealed to Gabby he couldn't go through with marrying her.

A huge confrontation between Kim and Caleb then took place, during which he revealed who he was and what he had truly been up to.
