Laura Whitmore floored as BBC co-star drops Iain Stirling pregnancy bombshell

Laura Whitmore couldn't hide her shock when Scarlett Moffatt made a pregnancy confession involving her husband, Iain Stirling.

The former Love Island presenter, 38, and Scarlett star, 33, appeared on the latest episode of Blankety Blank alongside Fred Sirieix, Eddie Kadi, Josh Widdicombe and Vanessa Feltz. As Bradley Walsh opened the BBC show on Saturday night (October 28), he asked whether any of the contestants knew each other prior to starring on the programme.

Scarlett was quick to confirm that she knew Laura and even revealed that Iain, 35, played a vital part in her recent pregnancy. The TV personality quipped: "Laura's husband is actually one of the reasons why I'm pregnant."

The former Gogglebox star immediately covered her face with her hand as she exclaimed: "No! Not like that!" Laura chipped in: "What a way to find out!"

Attempting to rectify the meaning behind her words, Scarlett added: "I mean Iain speaks so highly of being a dad, that it made me excited to," before stopping mid-sentence. "Sorry, Laura," she laughed as the mum-of-one responded: "I was a bit worried for a second I'm not going to lie."

"Sorry. That really came out wrong Bradley," Scarlett giggled. The I'm a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! winner welcomed her first child in June this year.

Alongside a series of heartwarming snaps taken moments after the birth, Scarlett penned on Instagram: "Jude Xavier Dobinson. My darling boy I can’t stop crying looking at you as I can’t quite believe you’re mine.

The star continued: "You wanted to meet us early at just 35 weeks. Me & your daddy love you so much that I can’t even put this feeling into words. Our heart and soul feels complete & ready to burst.

"I will forever and always be grateful to be your mammy." Scarlett went on to thank her midwives, revealing they will hold a "special place" in her heart.

Scarlett signed of the post with: "Let the baby bubble commence." Scarlett shares baby Jude with her police officer boyfriend Scott Dobinson. The couple first met more than a decade ago but have been officially dating since 2018.
