Janet Street-Porter stunned Loose Women viewers by advising against wearing underwear for air travel in the warm weather.
The presenter, 75, dished out the unusual advice as she shared some of her travel tips in a hilarious segment on Tuesday's instalment of the ITV show.
Listing her airport terminal 'don'ts', she told viewers: "Don't wear underwear!"

"Based on my own experience, the less you are wearing under your baggy clothes the better, because you can hold all of your limbs apart, as you inch forward," she explained.
"If you must wear knickers make sure they are 100% cotton – you don't want that chafing because you are on a shuffle for a long time."
Her fellow panellists Kaye Adams, Coleen Nolan and Brenda Edwards giggled in shock at Janet's surprising remark.
And many viewers were also a bit taken aback.
"Apparently you shouldn't wear underwear in this heat," one shocked fan posted on Twitter, adding a crying with laughter emoji.
"When you have thick thighs that's not a good idea."
"#JanetStreetPorter got me in kinks, just slipping off me underwear," tweeted another.
Someone else said: "I don't want to think about Janet going commando while I'm having lunch."
"Jeez, this is cringe," said another viewer, while another mused: "I never had Janet as a no knickers woman."

One fan said that Janet's airport tips were "one of the best things I've ever seen".
"Great airport advice from knickerless Janet S-P," quipped someone else.
Janet's other tips were less surprising, as she suggested passengers wore socks and made sure to carry a rucksack.
