Lorraine’s daughter makes surprise appearance on show
Lorraine fans were quick to call out the 63-year-old presenter as Christine Lampard stepped into front the self-titled show.
On Friday morning, ITV viewers watched the Loose Women star present the programme as they officially launched Lorraine’s Change+Check campaign song, Golden.
On a mission to raise breast cancer awareness, the singer Joss Stone spoke to Christine about how she got involved with the single.
However, many fans were unimpressed that Lorraine was missing from the show on the day of the song campaign launch.
Many took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to share their thoughts on the Scottish host’s absense.

@Gm4nHere sarcasitally asked: “Is Lorraine’s child off school sick today?”
Although her absence wasn’t mentioned on the show, Lorraine took to social media to share why she wasn’t in the studio.
Sharing a snap from an airport of an advert for Heart Radio with Jennifer Reoch and Des Clarke, she captioned that it was a “Cheery sight to come home to!”.
It looks as though Lorraine is back in Scotland as she’s hosting STV Children’s Appeal Show on Friday evening alongside Sean Batty.
However, fans saw the presenter get a welcomed surprise during Thursday’s show while speaking to Ross King.
Chatting to the entertainment reporter from Los Angeles, her daughter Rosie decided to pop in to say a quick hello to her mum.
Gobsmacked by the unexpected cameo, Lorraine squealed: “Oh my gosh, hi Rosie! What happens in LA, stays in LA, I’m glad you’re having a good time, love!”
Lorraine continues weekdays on ITV from 9am.
