Louise Redknapp fans can't believe her real age after she poses with grown up son on his birthday | The Sun

LOUISE Redknapp surprised her fans when she posed with her grown up son Charley on his birthday.

The ex-Eternal singer shared a snap with her eldest son as he marked turning 19 – but her followers were stunned by her youthful appearance.

She paid a gushing tribute to Charley, who she shares with ex Jamie Redknapp, and captioned the shot: "Happy 19th Birthday Chaz @charley_redknapp

"I’m unbelievably proud of you and everything you’ve achieved so far, enjoy everything that is coming your way!

"Carry on doing what you’re doing and I’ll be with you every step of the way. Love you so much, Mum, xxx."

Louise's fans rushed to wish Charley well and they also commented on how great she looks at 48 years old.

Another typed: "If I didn't know better I would think your son was your BF!"

Louise rose to fame as a member of the R&B group Eternal in 1993.

The 9 to 5 West End star was married to former footballer Jamie, 49, from 1998 until their divorce in 2017 after 19 years of marriage.

Together, the pair share Charley and 14-year-old Beau who was born in 2008.

The former Strictly Come Dancing star recently spoke about turning 50 years old next November.

She said: “Someone said to me yesterday: ‘What are you doing for your 50th?’

“And I thought: ‘Oh god, I forgot I was that old!’ But then I look in the mirror sometimes and go: ‘Oh, yeah, there it is.’”

Louise went on: “I want to do something really special and meaningful, like an incredible walk for charity.

“I really want to trek Machu Picchu in Peru with some of my girlfriends and raise as much money as I can.

“That’s my goal for the end of next year. I just think it would be really nice to do something like that rather than a big party.”

She’s been single since splitting with former footballer Jamie but has been busy releasing new music and returning to the stage.

“I’m just open to what may happen,” she told The Sun last month.

“I’m not actively out there looking. It’s not my number-one goal in life.

“But, if it goes that way and I met somebody who swept me off my feet and was amazing and kind and great, then I’d be so open to exploring that.

“But no, I’m not downloading apps. Well, not at the minute…

“I’ve put so much into rebuilding my career after a long break. Opportunities don’t just happen because people know who you are.

“And for me, it’s really important to be respected in what I do.

“If I did meet that great person, I would never hide it. If they are right, they are right. And I would be the first to embrace it and share it.
