Love Island fans have taken to social media to call out George Tasker after he told the boys about him and Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu cuddling in bed.

During Wednesday (6 June) night's episode, viewers saw George, 23, and Ekin-Su, 27, share a cuddle while in bed after the lights went out, but the actress was quick to tell him: "We're just friends."

The following morning, George wasted no time in letting the other boys know about what had happened between him and Ekin-Su after the girls had left the bedroom.

"Something pretty mad happened last night," he explained, adding: "There was some touching going on," before branding the moment a "little play around".

Later on, Ekin-Su pulled George for a chat and asked him not to tell anyone about what had happened between them, unaware that he had already informed the boys.

"So obviously I don't really want this to be spoken about because it was something that happened in the heat of the moment. Nothing really happened," she told George as he agreed.

He responded: "That's what I took it as, not digging deep into it. Just one of those funny little things."

George failed to tell Ekin-Su about his chat with the boys, leaving Love Island viewers unimpressed, with many calling him out on social media.

One person wrote: "LOL not george lying he didn't tell the boys," as another agreed, saying: "GEORGE MATE DON'T LIE YOU TOLD EVERYONE".

"Not George acting like he hasn't already given the boys the tea already," a third Love Island fan said.

A fourth added: "Not George saying he didn't tell the guys but those were the first words to come out of his mouth as soon as he woke up," alongside three laughing face emojis.

Ekin-Su later headed into the beach hut to chat about what had happened, and said: "I don't think I've done anything to hurt Davide. I don't think I've done anything wrong."

"We were in bed together, cuddling, spooning, it got a bit heated," she admitted.

Later on in Wednesday night's episode, Laura Whitmore entered the villa as the Islanders got set to decide whether to 'stick or twist'.

The original Islanders must choose whether to stay with their current partner or couple up with one of the Casa Amor bombshells.

Love Island continues on ITV2 at 9pm.
