Tasha Ghouri and Indiyah Polack have both been dubbed "the new Millie Court" after their musical performances in the Love Island talent show.

On Monday night's episode, the islanders took part in their very own special talent show, where they did their best to entertain their fellow contestants, as well as the viewers at home.

There were some successes, including Danica's dancing and Adam's magic trick, and some things that were simply a bit off, such as Ekin-Su's speech and Dami's rap.

And then… well, then there were some performances that sadly just didn't deliver, despite the performers' A* efforts.

Both Tasha and Indiyah caught viewers' eyes – and ears – as they offered their best musical performances.

Tasha opted to perform the Cup song, made famous by musical Pitch Perfect, as Anna Kendrick's character performs the Lulu and the Lampshades version of When I'm Gone.

Meanwhile, Indiyah decided to follow in the footsteps of Millie and go for an instrument, playing the recorder.

While the islanders cheered on the pair, it soon became clear neither of them are particularly gifted when it comes to music – and viewers were quick to light-heartedly compare the two to Millie Court's keyboard-playing in last year's Love Island talent show.

One wrote "Indiyah is this year’s Millie", while a second said: "Don't know what was more iconic, Millie playing the piano or Indiyah with her recorder."

Another user wrote: "Tasha wanted a Millie moment", with a fourth person writing "Tasha’s performance has got to of beaten Millie at the most cringe moment of the talent shows."

Some even suggested that the two form a band with Millie, with one person writing: "Name a better girl trio Indiyah on the recorder, Tasha singing and Millie on the keyboard."

While another wrote: "Indiyah, Tasha and Millie should definitely form a Love Island band."

Given that Tasha is a dancer, many fans questioned why she didn't strut her stuff like Danica.

Speculating as to why, one viewer wrote: "I’ve just realised Tasha wouldn’t be able to dance tonight because she dances through vibrations and wouldn’t be able to have heard the music properly."

Another said: "I’m sorry but Tasha playing the cup song was so freaking adorable. So vulnerable. Adore how much love Andrew was sending her way with just a smile."

While a third wrote: "They defo told Tasha she couldn’t dance bc they already had danica … couldn’t they do a double act or something like that."

Love Island continues every night at 9pm on ITV2 and ITV Hub. Episodes are available the following morning on BritBox.
