Love Island could be set to make history, as fans are predicting the first ever villa wedding.

With the OGs already in comfortable couples, with the exception of farmer Will, fans are growing tired of the connections already – especially after Shaq pushed Tanya into kissing him.

Ron and Lana were equally loved up as Lana rejected Will's advances, insisting she had already found the man she was happiest with.

Though a big bombshell twist threw the villa into chaos later in the day, fans are expecting the original couples to stay together – and even said a history-making wedding could be on the cards.

Taking to Twitter, one fan said: "You could swear the show has been going on for a week or so the way these couples are behaving… absolute ick!"

"Shaq's already planned the wedding and the kids' names," someone else echoed.

While a third fan penned: "Shaq fell in love before my Super Noodles finished cooking. It's been 3 days, how's he deciding on a wedding already?!"

Another echoed: "Lana please, it's day 3. I hate how they're all acting like they're married. Behave!"

As a fifth fan said: "Love Island is annoying sometimes because why are they acting like they are married after ONE DAY it's so annoying!"

"Why is everybody married off already?" someone else moaned.

Thankfully the villa had two new bombshells to stir up the drama, with model Zara and hunk David heading on their first dates.

David chose Tanya for a date, potentially dredging up a rift between her and Shaq as she confessed she "doesn't know" him yet.

Zara opted for Ron, again stealing away half of one of the most solid couples in the villa – though he said she'd have to "wait and see" if she was cuter than his current partner.

Zara indicated she won't go down without a fight, as she insisted: "I'm cuter though."

It looks like Zara might already know villa-OG Olivia, as the pair follow each other on Instagram.

Olivia already has one prior connection to one co-star after boxer Haris confirmed he's seen her acting as ring girl at his matches before.
