Love Island: Ty confronts Scott in tense preview

The family and friends of the Love Island stars paid a surprise visit to the villa on Sunday evening much to the delight of the contestants.

It gave them the opportunity to ask questions about their pairings on the ITV2 reality series and for the islanders to seek advice from their nearest and dearest.

However, something Scott van-der-Sluis said to his mum and sister left viewers unsure whether he wants to be in the villa any long – a week before the final.

Scott is in a couple with Abi Moores, with the pair only recently pairing up after she ended things with Mitchell Taylor.

Scott had been in a friendship couple ahead of this ever since his original partner Catherine Agbaje ditched him for a newcomer in Casa Amor in recent weeks.

Fans were left gutted when Catherine did not want to rebuild her romance with Scott and she was soon sent packing from the villa.

Scott has given things a go with Abi, but he confessed to his family something is missing on last night’s show.

He suggested there was no spark between them, adding: “There’s something not there at the moment.”

Viewers are now predicting Scott will exit the show ahead of the all-important final.

“I have a bad feeling Scott will literally evict himself from the villa because this whole Abi thing is going nowhere and there are no other bombshells coming in now,” one viewer tweeted.

Meanwhile, Dave said: “Scott should genuinely win this show on his own.”

Subham Sharma added: “Abi’s parents forcing Abi you can work things out together but it won’t work Abi likes Mitch, Scott likes Catherine and Mitch like every single girl in the villa.” (sic)

Jazlyn shared: “I think it’s because he’s freaked out by Abi lol. She’s expecting too much too soon and Scott can’t fake it. Like there’s literally a week to go and he could easily act involved just to win but that boy can’t fake it ever, he’s so genuinely himself, it’s so attractive.”

Yasmine Ouedraogo said: “So will he stay or leave? If he stays should we still vote for him until the finale night? I like the guy even if he is not in a couple.” 

Cani wrote: “Scott needs to escape Abi, however the only way I want him to leave is by leaving voluntarily and not by a public vote #LoveIsland.” 

Will Scott walk away from the villa on his own accord, or will he try and make things work with Abi?

Love Island continues tonight on ITV2 at 9pm.
