Love Island fans have pointed out the moment they believe Paige Thorne ‘got the ick’ with Jacques O’Neill, 23.

Rugby player Jacques left the hit ITV2 show in dramatic and teary scenes this week, but viewers of the show have shared their surprise at Paige already coupling up with Adam Collard, 27.

Paige was romantically involved with Jacques, but shortly after he left the villa she admitted she’s taken a fancy to gym-honed Adam.

Laying down outside, Ekin-Su asked Paige how everything was going, to which Paige replies: “I do really quite fancy Adam.”

Now, viewers believe there was an actual moment that they witnessed, where Paige lost interest in Jacques and 'got the ick.'

The 'ick' is a modern dating term that's said to happen when someone loses all feeling towards a romantic partner, and has a feeling of repulsion towards them.

Taking to Reddit, a fan shared a photo of Jacques and Paige lying in bed, with Paige at one side of the bed and Jacques at the other.

They wrote: “For those theorizing something went down during the night that caused Jacques to be removed from the villa next day, I'd like to enter into evidence the body language of sleeping arrangements in that bed that night, ft. Paige practically draping herself onto the floor.”

Agreeing with the theory, another fan replied: “I wanna say not to read into it too much bc they’re sleeping but I also remember them always literally morphing into one person when sleeping.”

A second added: “Yup 100% she was done with him here,” and a third penned: “This nights sleep had a drastically different appearance than all other features we'd seen between the two.”

Thursday night's instalment saw chaos inside the villa as a recoupling took place.

Following the sensational exit of Jacques, Paige had been left on her own – but Adam soon made that a thing of the past.

As the newbie in the villa, the Geordie bombshell – who starred in the 2018 series – wasted no time in choosing to couple up with the Welsh beauty.

After being picked, Paige could be seen smiling – despite being in floods of tears over Jacques departure just days ago.

And it didn't go unnoticed by viewers, with many of them taking to Twitter to air their thoughts on the segment.

Alongside an array of angry-faced emojis, one person penned: "Not seen Paige this happy for a while. She’s smiling ear to ear.”

Echoing their comments, someone else said: "Wasn't Paige in floods of tears over Jacques just days ago? She's never looked happier with Adam."
