Love Island girls forced to pick two boys to dump from villa in tense cliffhanger

The Love Island girls have been forced to dump two boys – out of Kai Fagan, Spencer Wilks, Aaron Waters – from the South African villa in a dramatic double dumping cliffhanger.

Friday night's episode saw Maya Jama, 28, make an epic return to the villa for the recoupling, where she revealed the boys who were saved by the public.

Ron Hall, 25, Will Young, 23, Shaq Muhammed, 24, and Tom Clare, 23, were saved – but the presenter announced that Kai, 24, Spencer Wilks, 24, and Aaron Waters, 24, will be up for elimination depending on the girls' choice, which will be revealed on Sunday.

Following Maya's announcement, Kai, Spencer, and Aaron stood in front of the rest of their islanders as the nation awaits the result of the two boys who will be packing their bags on Sunday.

Contestants Zara Deniz Lackenby-Brown, 25, Anna-May Robey, 20, and Haris Namani, 21, have been evicted from the show already.

And since their departures, we have seen recruitment consultant Casey O'Gorman, 26, and Jordan Odofin, 28, a senior HR advisor, turn the heads of the girls already.

It comes after we saw Love Island star Danica Taylor reveal that Kai Fagan is "playing a game," and explained why think Olivia Hawkins could be set for further heartbreak.

Danica admits she was baffled by Olivia, 27, and 24 year old Kai's sudden flirtations this week – admitting her first thought was "What the hell is going on?".

Olivia chose Kai as her first pick before he coupled up with Tanyel Revan. "It was only really out of default that she [Olivia] wasn't with Kai," Danica said, noting Olivia had "shown her interest in Kai".

Danica continued: "Kai knows Olivia's an easy one to go for, and he probably remembers that she was attracted to him."

When asked where this could leave Olivia, Danica replied: "I think, because Olivia has gone through it, because she gets quite emotional quite quickly, she shows that she's quite emotionally involved with the [Love Island] experience. I feel like she could be slightly blindsided."

It comes after fans branded Olivia and Kai's flirting as "fake," after Kai told Olivia about how much he has "enjoyed" their conversations so far.

One fan wrote on Twitter: "Kai and Olivia drumming up some fake connection because nobody wants them is hilarious."

Another said: "Kai is soooooo fake! He’s only grafting Olivia cos he knows all the girls will want Jordan."

Someone added: "Such a fake conversation on both sides Olivia and Kai #loveisland."

One social media user then compared Kai and Olivia to ex islanders Maura Higgins and Curtis Pritchard as they shared: "Kai and Olivia is killing me sorry.

"It’s like when Maura woke up one day and decided she wanted Curtis, pure survival instincts #LoveIsland."

Love Island continues every night at 9pm on ITV2
