Love Island in new bullying row as villa splits in two after explosive showdown | The Sun

LOVE Island could potentially be embroiled in a new bullying row after an explosive showdown split the villa into two last night.

Shaq Muhammad, 25, and Ron Hall, 25, clashed heads when Shaq accused the fiancial advisor of not pulling his weight.

The boys had prepared the girls a three-course meal and when it was time to tidy up, Ron went over to chat to Lana Jenkins, 25, and Tanya Manhenga, 22.

Shaq wasn't happy with that and confronted him.

Some viewers of the ITV2 show think that argument has made some see the airport security officer in a negative light, even branding him a "red flag".

One wrote on Twitter: "Shaq is coming across as a bully."

Another added: "Shaq should just leave it , he may mean well but in the end he'll look like a bully ! Let others speak up regarding Ron , hes not your responsibility!!!"

Meanwhile others flocked to the social media platform to back the airport security officer.

One said: "All the guys were upset with Ron for not cleaning up yet Shaq had the guts to hold him accountable… Shaq isn't being a bully or mean he actually forming respect."

"Why do all the girls rally behind Ron for?? Shaq is in the right ffs man. And Tanya is giving off bad vibes now too…," a second chimed in.

A third added: "I’m on Shaq’s side he had every right to expect Ron to muck in and clean up with other lads doesn’t deserve the shit he’s getting from girls especially Tanya who’s meant to love him and have his back."

The Sun contacted ITV for comment.

In the kitchen Shaq asked the rest of the boys: "Why is Ron sitting down having chats?"

He then shouted over at the lad: "Get up Ron, come on!"

Ron replied: "There's enough of you!"

Kai Fagan then chimed in and said that he was "taking the p***".

Ron continued to ignore them and Shaq reached boiling point and walked over to him and said: "Bro I'm not being funny yeah, we're all washing up and cleaning, can you have your chat later?"

But Love Island fan think they've worked out the "real" reason why Shaq and Ron went to war last night – and it's because there is an underlying issue between them.

One wrote on Twitter: "Will (who’s shaq's pal) can dance around an not help At all but when Ron sits to speak to the girls he comes across with that attitude towards him. Fairly obvious it ain’t about the dishes hun."

Another said: "Guys, it's not about dishes. Ron gets away with murder in that villa. Kept f****** over Lana, gets away with it.

"Tells the guys he wants to fix the rift…sits on his arse while they all clean and ignores them. No wonder Shaq's pissed with him."

And a third added: "Shaq immediately started shouting at Ron meanwhile Will and Casey were also not helping initially. Please the guy hates Ron, it’s not about the dishes."

The pair have clashed many times over the way that Ron has treated Lana Jenkins in the villa.

Shaq hit out at Ron for him wanting to get to know bombshell Ellie Spence, after telling his girl Lana that he only had eyes for her.

More recently Shaq hit out when Ron was convinced Lana would realise he is the "better man" after her date with newcomer Casey O'Gorman.

Others were left furious after Lana claimed Shaq swore at Ron during their clash.

Furious viewers accused her of lying after they witnessed the row play out at the end of the episode.

Some Love Island fans pressed the rewind button to see if she was telling the truth when she relayed the showdown later to the girls.

One viewer penned over on Twitter: "Lying Lana adding pepper to the sauce, Shaq didn’t swear when he told Ron to pull his weight."

And another replied: "I know!! I watched it back. She’s a madam!"
