Love Island fans cringed as Shaq Muhammad was revealed to be "so excited" over his bedroom kiss with Tanya Manhenga.
The pair were the first to be coupled up in the show's debut episode earlier this week. On Tuesday night, Tanya told Shaq that's he'd "have to wait" for a kiss, despite kissing Kai Fagan in a challenge earlier that evening.
In Wednesday night's episode, Shaq asked to kiss Tanya again, but was shut down, causing fans to run to Twitter as they cringed at the scene.
"Ok but guys that's scene with Shaq and Tanya was cringe #LoveIsland," one wrote.
A second added: "Shaq is doing too much too soon she might get turned off #LoveIsland"
"Shaq acting very full on," a third put with three red flag emojis. "It's just day 2, relax brav #loveisland."
Later that evening, Shaq and Tanya finally shared a kiss, but she told the girls in their morning debrief that he got "so excited."
Fans couldn't help but laugh at Shaq's reaction, according to Tanya, and took to Twitter to share their laughter.
"'He was so excited' looool yeah he has blown it, she’s gonna take him for an idiot #LoveIsland," one laughed.
Another called for a more X-rated take on the series, tweeting: "This is so highschool. Getting excited over a kiss you know. Take us back to the shagging days #LoveIsland"
Other fans believed they had caught onto Shaq's game plan, not fooling for how "smitten" he'd become just two days in.
"Is Shaq in love or is he playing a game? Coz currently he’s smitten with Tanya and it’s day 2 #LoveIsland," one suggested.
A second claimed they'd clocked on too: "Shaq thinks we ain’t clocked he is playing a game lol #LoveIsland."
