Love Island winner drops huge hint she's in talks for Strictly after Zara McDermott is confirmed for show | The Sun

LOVE Island winner Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu has dropped a huge hint she is in talks to do Strictly Come Dancing.

It comes just hours after fellow islander Zara McDermott was confirmed as part of the 2023 line-up for the BBC dance competition.

Ekin-Su, 28, teased a big project is on the cards during an interview on Irish radio.

Chatting on 98FM's Big Breakfast with Rebecca and Brendan earlier on Tuesday, she hinted at a big reality show on the horizon after her Dancing on Ice stint earlier this year.

Ekin-Su said: "I would love to do Strictly. Actually, maybe something might come up this year… I can't say. We are in talks for something, possibly. Keep your eyes peeled.

"But yeah, I'm very excited, can't say but yeah why wouldn't you see me on there?"

"I've spent the last three years making documentaries in a very small team, but Strictly is live. You cannot make a mistake, you have 'one take' only."

"This is just so far out of my comfort zone. I've spent the whole of my 20s pushing myself out of my comfort zone, but this is the pinnacle now.

"I have zero dance experience. I don't even dance in a nightclub – I'm that petrified of dancing."

Zara announced she's headed to the famous dancefloor on BBC Radio One's Going Home with Vick Hope and Jamie Laing, who have both competed on the show.

Until now, no other Love Islander has been asked to compete on Strictly after bosses relaxed its reality star ban.

Zara joins the likes of Strictly's oldest-ever star Angela Rippon and Sherlock actress Amanda Abbington.
