LOVE Island stars Mary Bedford and Jacques O’Neill have grown close after meeting through mutual friends.
Mary – who appeared on series seven of the ITV2 show – and this year’s star Jacques had a late night meeting at her flat this week.
Jacques even posted from inside Mary’s flat, with the caption: “Grateful for another week surrounded by amazing people… Happy Friday”.
“He was round there really late, around 11pm, and they were both really touchy-feely at the VIP launch last week” says a source.
“They’re getting really close – they have a lot of shared history given that they’ve both been on Love Island.”
It comes just days after they cosied up on a ride at The Summer Daze VIP Launch at The Trafford Centre in Manchester.
Jacques quit the Love Island villa the same week love rival Adam Collard entered – issuing a statement saying he regretted how he spoke to Paige Thorne, who he was coupled up with.
“The first two weeks of my experience was probably the happiest I’ve been in a very long time,” he said.

“On the other hand, the last two weeks was definitely the worst I’ve ever felt in my life.
“I was finding myself feeling worse and worse every day and if I didn’t leave when I did I was scared I would never have got back to my normal self.”
Mary originally entered Love Island through Casa Amor, when she was bought back to the main villa by Toby Toby Aromolaran.
After he reunited with Chloe, Mary moved onto Sam Jackson, and then coupled up with Aaron Simpson.
