Love Island's Lucinda breaks silence on pregnancy rumour after reuniting with ex | The Sun

FORMER Love Island series seven contestant Lucinda Strafford has broken her silence over pregnancy rumours.

It was previously speculated by fans online that the former reality TV star was expecting after she posted a picture at dinner which appeared to show a baby bump.


Lucinda, 23, took to social media as she dined out at the exclusive Ivy Asia restaurant.

She posted a snap onto her grid which showed her posing up a storm in a frilly red dress.

But the camera and her pose were constructed in such a way, that fans seemed to think the star was cradling a baby bump.

Her followers seemed to jump for joy as they thought the star might be expecting her first child.

But the former contestant of the popular dating programme has now broken her silence on the rumours, confirming that she is not pregnant.

Taking to her story, she reposted the picture, but she captioned the post to clarify the truth for users.

She said: "Omg guys I am LAUGHING. I definitely do not have a baby bump.

"The sleeves of the dress are massive & VERY frilly. I think the angle of my arm isn't helping either LOL."

This comes after she was previously seen cosying up to her Premier League star ex Aaron Connolly, after claiming that they'd split before the show.

The pair were spotted as they stopped off at Cobham service station in Surrey, making their way home in his car after driving into London.

A source told The Sun:"They were together all day shopping in London, and looked very comfortable with each other – definitely like a couple.

"I am certain that they have been together the whole time that she was on Love Island, she wasn't trying to keep a low profile and didn't seem fussed about them being seen together."

The Sun previously revealed that Lucinda dated £1m-a-year Brighton & Hove Albion winger Aaron for two years, and they split earlier in 2021 after he cheated before reconciling ahead of her Love Island stint.

An insider told us that they "argued" about her going on the ITV2 reality show – which she hoped would help boost her online fashion boutique.

Lucinda first rose to prominence in the seventh series of the hit dating show.

She briefly coupled up with Brad McClelland, Danny Bibby andAaron Francis before she was dumped from the Island of day 28 of the show.
