LUCA Bish has been slammed a "hypocrite" after his furious reaction to the Love Island dumping last night.

On Friday night's episode of the ITV2 show the Islanders had to pick two couples who they thought were least compatible.

When Luca, 23, found out he was safe, he made a comment aimed at those who had picked him and his partner Gemma Owen, 19.

As the pair returned to the firepit to sit down, he gave the professional equestrian a kiss, and made a comment implying he was going to approach everyone who voted for him.

Luca said: "Oh I'm going to have some fun tonight."

Indiyah Polack heard his comment and rolled her eyes.

But viewers at home were left confused by what he had said and branded him a hypocrite, after how he treated Tasha Ghouri, 23, when she got upset about the same thing.

One wrote on Twitter: "Remember when Luca got angry at Tasha for being upset about being in the bottom three and said it shouldn’t matter because her and Andrew and together and that’s all that matters. And now look at his behaviour tonight. Complete and utter hypocrite.”

Another said: "…Tasha for being upset over the same thing. Caring about other peoples opinions when you got your partner. Even Gemma said herself why does Damiyah’s opinion even matter. Luca is a massive hypocrite who can give out his unsolicited opinions but can never take it himself."

A third chimed in: "Luca suuuuucks hahah his reaction to the compatibility vote…hypocrite."

All of the couples, apart from Indiyah and Dami Hope, 26, received votes from their co-stars, so the rest were at risk of leaving the villa.

Last night they gathered around the firepit to hear the results – and Adam Collard, 26, and Paige Thorne, 24, were dumped from the Island.

But just moments Luca found out that his mates had voted for him, his face said it all.

Last night the gang also reunited with loved ones.

Gemma's mum Louise, 41, passed on a message to her daughter from her father Michael Owen: "Honestly, he is really proud of you, really proud."

And it's wasn't just Gemma's family who paid a visit, as Luca's parents Michael and Maria entered in the villa.

Luca's dad Michael – who decided to wear a pair of the famous fish flops for his visit – says about Gemma: "She puts you straight doesn't she."

Mum Maria added: "First night I said they fancy each other, I knew it.

"I love the values and morals she has."

Tonight the winners of Love Island 2022 will be crowned.
