Married At First Sight UK fans have witnessed the "most awkward moment ever" after newlywed Peggy told her mum that her husband liked rimming.

The couple were tasked with sharing some intimate dinner dates wither their respective family and friends to get to know each other better on Monday’s episode (October 16). But fans were gobsmacked when Peggy revealed her man's saucy desire, and her mum was forced to ask her what it was.

“Intimacy week came and we were all exciting I heard all about Georges liking rimming if you want me to go into the details,” she said. To which her sister replied: “Sorry – oh no” putting her head in her hands.

Her mum then chimed in: “Rimming? What’s that? Peggy then said “I don’t want to explain to mum what that is actually. During intimacy week I heard that my husband likes rimming – giving and receiving.”

Her sister then ended the chat saying: “The way you’re talking is not right.” Georges can then be heard saying “Who would have thought I’d be talking about rimming with my sister-in-law and my mother-in-law. Wow.”

“That awkward moment when Peggy’s Mum asks what “rimming” Is” said one fan on X, formerly Twitter. “Peggy's mum finally finding out what rimming is CRINGEEE” penned a second.

A third added: “Hearing Georges talk so much about rimming is proper putting me off my tea. And why's he acting like some kind of sexpert cringing bad,” and fourth wrote: “Georges and Peggy talking about rimming each other is the most awkward thing ever.”

Peggy's sister can also be seen asking Georges about his online gaming career, after Peggy called him out for "squatting" for fans. "Since the wedding, I found out something that you do for 'baguettes'," Holly says.

George then explains: "I do online gaming, and in my community the more you watch, you gain points, but I renamed them baguettes. "And with these baguettes, the more you watch the more points you get, and you can spend basically whatever I have as a redemption. One of my redemptions is squatting, and I said that I squat obviously online – fully clothed."

However, Holly disputed this, saying: "Seen it. Fully clothed but not a lot of clothing. Well, no, you're just hiding your dignity. Quite short boxers." Georges then clarifies that he wasn't being forced to do anything he didn't want to.

Peggy then says to camera: "The fact my family has seen these videos of my husband is humiliating and embarrassing for me, and that's the kind of perception they have of him now. It's going to be difficult to change their opinion on him."
