MARTIN ROBERTS was left shocked in the latest episode of Homes Under the Hammer after he examined a home which had no roof.

In a rerun of the BBC show Homes Under the Hammer, Martin Roberts and Dion Dublin showed viewers their latest property projects.

Dion traveled to Bury, Greater Manchester, to see a house that was badly run down, and needed a good clear out.

Meanwhile Martin went to Burton-upon-Trent to visit a mid-terrace house that had been badly damaged by a fire.

It soon became clear the property was in total need of renovation after being left covered in mold and rotting walls and ceilings.

As the property expert was reviewing the house, he noticed some major problems with it, including mold in many areas of the living room.

Just when Martin thought he saw the worst, he was shocked when he entered the kitchen and described it as "minging”.

He began: “Well, £25,000 as a guide price for a two-bed, mid-terraced house around here is actually pretty much too good to be true.

"But in this particular instance… it hasn't got something you take for granted, a roof.

"Turns out the house has had some serious fire damage so goodness only knows what we're going to find inside."

Martin then left the garden and went inside the house to see the condition it was in.

"You don't have to go very far to find mold," he said as he entered the kitchen.

"Wow, let's leave pretty quickly because it's pretty minging."

"Lots of signs of damp everywhere. This room is obviously the rear living room area and my guess is when there was the fire, water was sprayed in to stop it and it's all come down here and the whole house smells damp."

He looked disgusted as he scanned the room and pulled off a bit of wallpaper hanging from the wall.

Martin noticed there was no toilet in sight, downstairs and said: "No loo though which means the loo is probably upstairs, a rear sitting room here, the front sitting room there which looks to be in equally terrible condition."

Despite the house needing a lot of work, Jas and her husband Harpreet ended up buying the property for 27,000.

But Martin was stunned when Jas said they bought the property before even viewing it.

Martin asked Jas how she felt after finally seeing the property and Jas replied: "Speechless."

Adding: "There's a lot of work that needs doing and it surprised me a little bit that it has no roof on it.
