Friends star Matthew Perry has taken to Instagram with a sweet snap alongside his father and fans of the sitcom are all saying the same thing.
The star took to social media alongside his dad John as the both enjoyed a day together and had a drink. John Bennett Perry and his actor son posed in a huge living room as they both smiled for the snap.
Matthew captioned the sweet dad-son snap: "Here is me, and my father John, both holding a beverage" Fans of the star instantly recognised his father, who it seems is no stranger to the big screen.

Not only did John star in the Old Spice adverts when he was younger, which was a popular brand of deodorant, but he also appeared on an episode of Friends. Fans noticed that John played Joshua's dad in season four.
Taking to the comments section of Matthew's post one fan wrote: "Wait! He was Joshua’s dad in the episode where Jennifer was wearing a nightie as a dress!! His best line “I like this one, she seems smart”!"
Another penned: "I loved it when your father made an appearance on Friends in season 4. Playing Joshua's dad." While a third person commented: "When I was growing up, I am now 78, I loved the Old Spice commercials because I had a crush on your father. Then when Friends started on TV, Chandler Bing was my favourite character. So funny!"
Matthew appeared to be holding a coca cola in his hand and fans also took to the comments section to praise the Chandler Bing star for being sober. The star detailed his battle with addiction in his tell-all memoir Friends, Lovers and the Big Terrible Thing.
One person said: "I’ve read your book. Twice. One of the reasons I decided to get sober." While another penned: "I just finished your book. Those of us who are long-time fans had no clue what you were going through. Thank you for sharing your journey with us. I was truly touched and I hope you continue to stay healthy!"

Matthew unveiled hi book in February 2022 and took to Instagram to tell his fans. In a caption of a picture of the front of the book he wrote: "So much has been written about me in the past. I thought it was time people heard from me. The highs were high, the lows were low. But I have lived to tell the tale, even though at times it looked like I wouldn’t. And it’s all in here. I apologize it’s not a pop-up book."
