Broadcaster Laura Whitmore was mortified after watching a BDSM-themed porn film in the flesh.
The former Love Island host took on the grim issue of violent sex in a new ITV documentary "Laura Whitmore Investigates".
In the episode, she explored the topic of sex fantasy that involves bondage, dominance, submission and sado-masochism.

During a chat with journalist Gigi Engle, they discovered that sex violence is very common in mainstream porn.
As they analysed some clips, Laura was shocked to see a porn star being chained up and choked by her co-star.
"She doesn't look like she's enjoying it…Jesus Christ," she said.
"There is no balance of power, it's always women being whipped and strangled."
The 38-year-old host decided to visit a film studio to find out if the porn stars were aware of the portrayal of the violent sex.
One performer, Chris Cobalt, saw violence in sex as a fantasy and that it shouldn't represent how a relationship should go in general.
Before the filming, Chris asked his co-star, Melody Pleasure for any boundaries that he should be aware of.
"Don't choke me, don't leave any marks on me, a bit of forced deep throat and hair pulling," she said.
When the camera started rolling, Laura stayed behind the curtain and watched the action.
But it wasn't comfortable for her at all.
"I can't believe I stood there and watched that, it was more ethical than I expected it to be, to be honest," she said.
"There wasn't particularly violent and definitely consenxual but it wasn't an easy watch.
"I wonder if they felt awkward as I did."
When she left them and got back to her car, she took a moment to reflect.
She said: "That's not your average Monday, is it? I mean, yesterday I was at soft play [in a BDSM class] and today…[giggles] a different kind of play.
"But it's the most unsexiest thing I've ever experienced in my life."
