My Mum, Your Dad star Monique has insisted she isn’t secretly dating her co-star Clayton.
Monique had a rather complicated journey with Martin M on the show, but surprised fans by cosying up to Clayton in a new snap.
Adding fuel to the fire, she captioned the image: “@claytonbyfield, you are another rib in my cage 😂😂😂 !”
Her fans got very excited at the prospect, with one person writing: “You look great together!”
A second said: “Omg are you two together??”
While a third commented: “I said in episode 1 Clayton & Caroline should have been sent on a date – two absolutely gorgeous souls. I hope they get together.”

But Monique was quick to clear things up, telling everyone: “Aww, we are not together but he is the absolute best hooman !”
During the show, Monique was in a bit of a love triangle with Martin and Tollulah as they both liked him.
He ended up with Monique, but her daughter Taiya wasn’t convinced about his actions and when they finally met she quizzed him.
She asked him: “I just wanted to make sure it came from a genuine place, you know? And it wasn't just because you were physically attracted to my mum."

Martin explained: "What happened was, it was really strange, I got to know Tollulah and every time I was with her I liked her more and I still hadn't had that chat with your mum…"
He added: "That one chat where you bond and see what's happening… And then me and your mum had a conversation and we just clicked within five minutes. It all kinda fell into place and I'd be lying if I said I wasn't physically attracted to her because I am as that's very important to me, too."
Clayton meanwhile got the boot during process alongside Caroline after failing to find a connection with anyone.
