My Mum, Your Dad stars Roger Hawes and Janey Smith's relationship looks to be going from strength to strength as they shared snaps from a romantic walk, with fans calling them "genuine".
Widower Roger, 58, became a firm favourite with fans of the ITV dating show who labelled him a "silver fox" and cheered him on as he found love again with fellow contestant Janey, 47.
The pair met on the hit programme dubbed 'Love Island for single parents' and sparks flew as they got to know each other, with Roger's daughter Jess and Janey's son William watching on from a viewing room where the contestants' children were shown footage of their dates.
Fans have been loving seeing Roger and Janey's romance blossoming outside of the show, too, and in a new social media update they were praised for being "lovely and genuine".
Roger shared photos of himself with his dog in Nottinghamshire's Clumber Park and although Janey couldn't be seen in the snaps, he wrote: "Enjoying the scenery with Bruno & Janey."
Fans were quick to offer their support, as one person commented: "Was a joy to watch yours and janeys friendship develop into where u are now..such a lovely genuine couple..best of luck for the future to u both." Someone else wrote: "Love you guys you are so genuine, beautiful dog x"
Another fan added: "So glad you've both found each other.. You make a beautiful couple x such a heartwarming series x" And a fourth said: "Awww gorgeous dog and I loved watching your love story unfold."
Roger had explained in emotional scenes on the show that he had lost his wife Joanna to cancer just 18 months earlier.
He said: "We were on holiday in Italy and I just looked behind her ear, and it was irritating her – just a little spot behind her ear.
"I said 'you need to get that checked out when you get back' and she did. She got seen to really quick, and it was melanoma. But she didn't know that by that time the cancer had gone to her brain."
Roger, who lives in Derbyshire, has been sharing updates of his relationship with Janey, from West Sussex, now that My Mum, Your Dad is over.
He posted on Instagram in September: "It’s been hard to keep it a secret, but the wait is finally over – me and the beautiful @janeybombshell are still going strong and have never been better since."
Roger added: "We couldn’t be happier together, and it wouldn’t be possible without @itv."
