Nadia Sawalha red-faced after almost flashing fans in cringe wardrobe blunder

Loose Women presenter Nadia Sawalha was left utterly red-faced after she suffered a major wardrobe blunder live on stage.

Over the past week, the brunette beauty has been touring all over the country with her fellow co-stars for the first live production of the ITV daytime show.

But things didn’t entirely go to plan during her latest performance in Birmingham when she shared the stage with Christine Lampard, Frankie Bridge and Denise Welch.

Returning to the London studios for the first time since her awkward performance, Nadia recalled the embarrassing moment during Friday’s show (September 15).

During the final instalment of the week, the broadcaster shared the less glamorous side of life on tour after she admitted that she wore the wrong bra with her sparkly red dress.

She fumed: “Oh God, I had this gorgeous dress on, but I'd brought the wrong bra.

“You know when you’ve got the wrong bra, it’s a bit like you’ve got the G string on the wrong way around – you just don’t feel right all day.

“So because I wasn’t on television, I was just constantly pulling it up, pulling it down and I had that four-boob thing going on. I was so uncomfortable and it was a shame because the dress was so yummy.”

It was at this point that that the star revealed how her co-star attempted to help fix the situation by unclipping her bra at the back – but things didn’t go quite to plan.

Nadia added: “So Denise being Denise just got up and undid it – thank God it was a cupped, very heavily cupped bra because otherwise they would have just gone [south] and hit the floor.

“So then when we got up to do the bow, I was terrified because they were just sitting there holding on to the edge and they would have just flopped under.

“So I was literally holding my breasts so that I didn’t flash the viewers,2 as Judi joked: “Then you really would have been a Loose Woman!”

Her cheeky co-star couldn't help but share the mortifying moment on social media, with the caption: "Omg!!! @nadiasawalha forgot she'd undone her bra as it was too tight then stood up!!!! [five cry-laughing emojis]."

It didn't take long before her adoring fans poked fun at the embarrassing moment immediately after posting, with one user joking: "Flipping heck that was a close one, half the front row would have been taken out if she hadn't realised [three cry-laughing emojis]."

Another chuckled: "Whip 'em out, Nadia [cry-laughing emoji]" as a third added: "This could only happen to Nadia [cry-laughing emoji]."
