NCIS Los Angeles season 14 is now well underway after its release date came weeks after the start of NCIS series 20 and the second season of NCIS Hawaii. The CBS police procedural’s team has mostly stayed the same over the years with only a couple of exits and new additions in the past few series. NCIS Los Angeles actress Medalion Rahimi has been part of the NCIS universe for the past four years.
She had featured in the the now-cancelled NCIS New Orleans in a minor role back in 2018.
But it wasn’t until the following year that Rahimi joined the cast of NCIS Los Angeles as Agent Fatima Namazi.
In 2020, CBS announced she had been made a member of the main cast.
How tall is NCIS LA star Medalion Rahimi?
NCIS LA star Medalion Rahimi is 166cm tall which is the equivalent to just over 5ft 5in, according to Celeb Heights.
She is shorter than her fellow female agent on the team Kensi Blye, portrayed by Daniela Ruah, who is 5ft 8in.
But in comparison, Operations Manager Hetty Lange actress Linda Hunt is just 4ft 9in tall.
This is because the 77-year-old was diagnosed with hypopituitary dwarfism when she was a teenager.
When the 30-year-old first joined the cast, she opened up about how proud she was to represent a Muslim woman on the small screen.
She told Film Forums: “A lot of the times I’ve gone up for a lot of Muslim roles just because I’m Iranian and I’m technically Muslim, but spiritual in my own way.
“But a lot of them have been to play spies or terrorists or mentally ill persons.
“It’s nice to finally have a role where I’m a real person, a real person on the good side of things, allowing Muslims to define themselves without a Western agenda smacked onto it.”

For the past season, fans have been predicting a romance will blossom between Fatima and Agent Devin Roundtree (played by Caleb Castille).
The pair have a jokey friendship which CBS viewers have loved but could there be more to their relationship?
Only time will tell as the colleagues continue to get closer while protecting one another in the field.
As NCIS and NCIS Hawaii take their midseason hiatus, NCIS Los Angeles is still airing weekly.
Season 14 will continue this weekend with episode five, entitled Flesh and Blood.
The description reads: “NCIS is called to investigate when a woman is seen fleeing the scene of her husband’s murder.
“Roberta Deeks comes into town to meet Rosa, and Sam looks for another aide for his father.”
NCIS Los Angeles season 14 continues every Sunday on CBS in the USA. A UK release date hasn’t been announced.
