Nick Tilsley (Ben Price) is absolutely fuming next week in Coronation Street as he discovers Adam Barlow’s (Sam Robertson) plan to do a deal with the devil.
The devil? Damon Hay (Ciaran Griffiths), brother of Harvey Gaskell (Will Mellor) who had previously spent months dealing drugs through the deliveries at the bistro.
The deal? Become Damon’s new solicitor.
It’s something Adam is only considering because right now, his business is struggling. Money is tight just about everywhere other than Damon’s pockets, so Adam is forced to chat with Dee-Dee (Channique Sterling-Brown) about taking on someone who is evil – but also completely loaded.
Next week, Nick finds Damon in his office and discovers that he’s hired a new solicitor – someone Nick might have heard of.
Discovering the connection, Nick fumes at Adam for agreeing to act on behalf of Damon and when Sarah finds out, she tells Adam that she’s off to the hotel he booked for their date night on her own.
After flirting with Damon at the hotel, unaware of who he is, Sarah then finds him in the ginnel the next day, begging Damon to stay away from Nick and drop Adam as his solicitor.
As Damon refuses to make any promises, Dee-Dee remains fully aware that he’s unlikely to walk free as whoever stitched him up knew what they were doing.
But what will Adam do?
If he continues representing Damon, what will this do to the family dynamics?
