Nicola King (Nicola Wheeler) broke down in tonight’s Emmerdale, convinced the group of girls who attacked her were in the village.

Last night, terrified about being alone, Nicola exaggerated Carl’s illness so he could have another day off school.

However, when Carl stood up to his mum and told her he isn’t poorly, she panicked and threw a vase across the room.

Tonight, while looking after Dotty and Carl again, Nicola wondered where the young lad had gone.

Dotty told Nicola that Carl had ran outside, causing the local councillor to become very overwhelmed.

Nicola managed to make it outside and usher Carl back inside, but she told him it isn’t safe.

Shutting the door, Nicola bolted it shut.

When Laurel (Charlotte Bellamy) arrived, Nicola was so certain one of the girls had found her, she opened the door and hit Laurel over the head.

With help from Cain (Jeff Hordley), Laurel and Bernice (Samantha Giles) entered Nicola’s home and found her on the floor holding a rolling pin, fearing for her life.

Sadly, Nicola was so consumed with negative emotions, she didn’t accept Laurel and Bernice’s help and instead, threw them out of the house.

Bolting the door shut once more, a tearful Nicola jammed a chair under the handle, but can anyone help her?

Bernice and Laurel are very concerned, but will they tell Jimmy (Nick Miles) what’s going on?
