Our Yorkshire Farm's Amanda Owen bags string of new Channel 5 spin-off shows after split from Clive | The Sun

OUR Yorkshire Farm's Amanda Owen and her family will work with Channel 5 on a number of new programmes – the channel confirmed.

Channel 5 said Amanda Owen and her family are "hugely important" to the television network and they are working on a "number of" new programmes with them.


The Yorkshire Shepherdess announced that she and her husband of 22 years, Clive Owen separated in June.

Since then viewers have been wondering what will happen with their family show.

The mum of nine recently teased some "exciting upcoming projects" but left viewers in suspense as she didn't reveal exactly what they were.

Amanda spoke about the plans of "new projects going on", during a latest appearance on ITV's Lorraine show.

She said: “There's new projects going on – there's exciting new things going on that I obviously can't tell you about."

She continued: "Well, there's all kinds of up-and-coming projects that I obviously have to remain firmly quiet about."

Currently, there is no update on when season six of Our Yorkshire Farm will return but the network confirmed that Owen family are "hugely important" to them – revealing plans to work with them on a number of shows.

The news of the upcoming projects with Amanda and her family comes after the Shepherdess recently revealed she's taken her wedding ring from Clive off four months after their split.

Amanda, 48, announced in June she and Clive had split after 22 years together.

The pair first met in 1995 in Ravenseat, where Amanda had gone to ask for help.

The pair now share nine children, and Amanda has told how tough the split was – especially as there were cameras around so often.
