Radio 1s Adele Roberts suffers bathroom malfunction after Queens funeral show

Radio 1 presenter Adele Roberts suffered an embarrassing bathroom malfunction during a practice run ahead of Queen Elizabeth II’s state funeral on Monday (September 9).

On Sunday (September 18), the brunette beauty took to her Instagram Story where she informed her loyal legion of fans that she would be reporting live from the Mall as the late monarch’s funeral took place.

She asked a slew of listeners to come and share their stories with the Queen with her as they gathered to watch the late monarch’s coffin go past.

But after a dress rehearsal of the radio show, the Big Brother star suffered an awkward wardrobe malfunction after her stoma bag named Audrey split.

In full view of her 206k followers, she shared a clip of herself in a public port aloo as she quickly changed her bag and switched out her T-shirt.

She said: “Oh dear, so just practicing today and right on cue, Audrey split on me but we’ve just finished our practice which is great.

“I’m in an accessible port aloo so I'll just do a quick change and then back home to Kate and then back here for the Queen’s state funeral. I shall see you then I hope.”

Over the last year, the I’m A Celebrity … Get Me Out Of Here! star has publicly documented her bowel cancer diagnosis over the past few months.

But this isn’t the first time the radio host has shared a candid post about her health update after the TV star shocked viewers with when her colon prolapsed.

The starlet shared an image of herself lying on her back with a pile of sugar all over her stomach as she shared what was happening in the caption.

In a candid post, she penned: “If you’d have told me a year ago I'd be sugaring my colon, I wouldn’t have believed you! Audrey’s at it again.

“What have I got the naughtiest stoma alive?! I would show you what a prolapsed stoma looks like, but I've just watched the footage back and I wouldn’t want to alarm anyone.”

Roberts confessed that she was “freaked out” and “very scared” thankfully calmed down once she saw others sharing their experiences online and realised it was “quite common” and often “looks worse than it is.”
