MONTHS have passed since Gus Malcolms last saw his ex-wife Rhona Goskirk and their relationship is only set to get worse.
Gus returns to Emmerdale and has shocking news to share. Little does Rhona know her husband Marlon Dingle knows everything.
Actor Alan McKenna joined the Emmerdale line-up earlier this year when his ITV alter ego, Gus Malcolms, paid his ex-wife Rhona a visit in the eponymous village.
Desperate to have a family with his new bride Lucy, Gus asked Rhona for her consent to use the frozen embryos she had stored during their marriage – which she struggled to accept and, eventually, refused.
However, Gus refused to take heed of Rhona's concerns and, in recent scenes of the Yorkshire-based drama, her new husband Marlon (portrayed by Mark Charnock) found out Lucy was pregnant.
The mother-to-be and her husband swore a stunned Marlon to secrecy but, in scenes due to be aired next week, the chef struggles to keep Gus' secret and ends up blurting the news to a shocked Rhona.
