Rylan Clark reveals his mum is back in hospital after emergency surgery on holiday | The Sun

RYLAN Clark has revealed his mum Linda is back in hospital after she suffered a nasty fall on holiday.

The TV presenter, 34, shared a video of Celebrity Gogglebox star Linda, 71, sitting in a wheelchair in a ward on Monday morning.

Linda could be seen emerging from a lift, with her arm in a sling and one leg hanging off the foot rest.

Despite the painful injury, Linda looked in good spirits as she cracked a smile with her son.

Rylan filmed a short clip, which he later shared with his Instagram following, captioning it: "Early morning hospital bants". Rylan has added the Westlife cover 'Raise Me Up' to play over it.

The former It Takes Two host did not explain the nature of the visit but it is likely that Linda was there for a routine hospital check-up.

Earlier this month, radio star Rylan revealed that his beloved mum, needed surgery after the "bad fall".

At the time he described Linda as "not in the best of health" and said her other conditions had complicated the matter.

Sharing a picture of his mum's hand on Instagram, he wrote: "Mum is out of surgery. All went well. Asked me if she can still have a new driveway…. She’s deffo come round. Thanks for all your lovely messages x."

The positive news was met with relief by concerned friends and fans.

Rylan was also forced to skip his own BBC Radio 2 show shortly after the accident to be with his mum.

He said: "So unfortunately I took my mum away on her first holiday in a good few years and sadly she's had quite a bad fall, resulting in her having to have surgery out here.

"She's not in the best health with her other conditions and this has made it more complicated.

"My priority at the moment is my mum.

"Cheers scott for covering me at radio 2 and Thanks to the people out here that have sent their well wishes.

"Praying for a successful surgery and a quick recovery. Will update you on mummy. Linda as and when I can x."

Last year Rylan spoke to Fearne Cotton's Happy Place podcast about Linda's struggle with Crohn's disease.

She was previously forced to take time off from Gogglebox due to a flare up of the incurable condition.

Speaking about his bond with his mum, he said: "I cannot imagine my life without her. I mean she has gone through quite a lot with her health, she has got Crohn's disease.

"She is on a drip feed now like pretty much 24/7 whenever she can get on it.

"I will do anything for my mum. Like, she will not listen.
