Sam Thompson sex confessions – mortifying romp, STI confession and once a week

Sam Thompson has been on screens since 2013, first appearing on E4 reality show Made in Chelsea.

The 31-year-old has gone on to appear on a number of reality TV shows, including Celebrity Big Brother, Celebrity Coach Trip and Celebs Go Dating.

He has also become somewhat of a social media star, sharing hilarious TikTok videos with girlfriend Zara McDermott and best pal Pete Wicks.

Sam is also now a host of the Love Island official podcast, The Morning After, alongside 2022 contestant Indiyah Polack and appears on the panel each week for Aftersun.

Over Sam's decade-long career, he has made a number of racy confessions and to celebrate his birthday today (August 2), Daily Star has taken a look at them.

'Mortifying' romp

In 2020, Sam returned to Celebs Go Dating and revealed he once slept with his friend and Made in Chelsea co-star Liv Bentley.

Chatting to the reality star about her experience on the Channel 4 show, Sam said: "I just think we need to address the elephant in the room right now. We have actually slept together."

Revealing that Liv took control, he explained that she was "telling him what to do", while he was just "happy" to be there.

Sam added: "You were so bossy, and I was literally just like, 'God, I don't know if I'm doing it right.'

"And then you were like, 'no, do this'. I was definitely amateur, not even semi-pro… you were giving me pro things to do. And I was like, 'I'm not there. Just give me missionary'."

Liv didn't enjoy the trip down memory lane and instead branded the whole experience as "mortifying".

Threesome reveal

During an interview with New! Magazine with former TOWIE star Pete, 35, the best mates were quizzed about parts of their sex life.

When both lads were asked if they'd ever had a threesome, Pete simply responded "yes" before Sam admitted he also had.

Although he held back on the intricate details, he confirmed the steamy session happened "with two women".

Quickly deflecting on the racy act, Sam insisted: "I can count the amount of girls I've been with on one hand."

Gemma Collins 'shag'

Sam once made an X-rated confession about Gemma Collins.

Opening up following his first appearance on Celebs Go Dating in 2018, the reality star confirmed he was still single despite heading on a string of dates.

Revealing in an interview with Heat Magazine that he would happily date Team GB's Jade Jones, the podcast host then made a racy quip about the TOWIE star.

“I’d shag the GC if she allowed me!" he told the publication.

Once a week

Prior to his brief yet infamous breakup with Zara, Sam revealed the couple were only having sex once a week.

Sitting down with pal Jamie Laing during an episode of Made in Chelsea in 2020, Sam got candid about the intimate side of his relationship.

After Jamie revealed he slept with now-wife Sophie Habboo minimum once a day, Sam replied: "Once a day is a lot. I'm a year and a half and it's once a week. If we're having a good time."

He went on to admit: "Once a week, possibly twice a week but she is now comfortable with that. But she's in pyjama phase now mate.

"It's Tellytubby bun, spot cream and pyjamas up to the top with a collar. Don't get me wrong, I've never been happier in my entire life.

"And I didn't actually think I could be this happy."

Later in the episode, Sam discovered Zara had cheated on him while appearing on The X Factor: Celebrity.

STI confession

In 2019, Sam starred in Public Health England’s ‘Protect Against STIs’ campaign after admitting he previously contracted chlamydia after having sex without a condom.

"It was as a result of making the mistake of not using a condom when I slept with someone new," the reality star told Femail in 2018.

He added: "It was a really hard time for me, I had to face the embarrassment of telling a girl I really liked that I’d potentially given her an STI.

"I was quite nervous to admit to everyone, but actually I think the more we talk about these things the better."

Sam went on to say: "I think it just helps to show that nobody is perfect, and that anyone can have an STI which is why it’s so important to stay safe and use a condom."
