SAMMY Root has spoken out on his relationship status after splitting from Jess Harding.

It comes after the Love Island winner set tongues wagging over cosy snaps with another reality TV beauty.

Last night he took to Instagram and delivered a graphic description of his dating life during an Instagram Q&A.

The star had asked fans to help him come up with a costume for Halloween, when he was bombarded with funny replies.

One person wrote back to him: "A single man" and a smiling Sammy replied "ouch".

When one more fan wrote: "Slutty girl" in the answer box, he typed back: "Think I've got that one in the bag."

Sammy was seen putting his break up behind him as he got up close to Love Island legend Faye Winter.

He had an arm around a giggling Faye, who is also a Love Island alumni, as they waited for a taxi.

Earlier this month Sammy released a statement on social media confirming that he and Jess had gone their separate ways and was "blindsided" by the news.

He told how the news of their break up was a “shock” adding:  "To be totally clear – I at least wanted a face to face conversation to see if our relationship could be saved and felt this would be a respectful way forward.

"We had the most incredible experience winning Love Island and I genuinely saw a future with Jess. I was committed and respectful to our relationship. Unfortunately things don't always work out the way you'd hoped."

Jess later broke her silence saying: "I really don't want to go into detail by doing a big statement but we're just very different and behave differently and that's it."

A rep for Love Island 2021 star Faye insisted: "She is friends with Jess and Sammy. Nothing was going on here other than them saying goodbye when leaving."

Faye has been single since her split from Teddy Soares earlier this year.
