During last night’s I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! Scarlette Douglas was the latest star to be booted from the ITV show. The I’m A Place in the Sun presenter was greeted by her brother Stuart Douglas after Scarlette reflected about her time on the show with hosts Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly. Scarlette broke down in tears as she hugged her brother, with who she co-hosts Worst House on the Street and Flipping Fast with George Clarke.

The pair first made their debut together last year, when they joined forces for Channel 4’s Black to Front project.

Following the success of the one-off special, Love it or List it, the duo went on to land two other property shows – Flipping Fast with George Clarke and Worst House on the Street.

However, speaking in an exclusive interview with Express.co.uk, Scarlette and Stuart opened up about what it is like working together.

Former professional footballer Stuart admitted they often disagree when it comes to some of their design ideas.

“We have different design ideas and different interior thoughts,” Stuart began.

“But ultimately, we always know as a duo that that’s the right decision, and when we give our opinions and our advice to the homeowners, we have to remember that it’s their home, it’s not ours.

“But we can only revise the choice that they make, and we have to ensure that we do everything possible to make their choice, the right choice.”

Discussing their clashes, Stuart continued: “I would be lying if we agreed on everything.

“But I think for any partnership to work and to be successful, you need to have different opinions

“If everyone said ‘Yes’ and if everyone agreed to the same thing, then you wouldn’t have as opposed conversations and you wouldn’t have the discussions that really can generate levels of design that are there based on questions.

“And if you ask questions, and you can discuss that and come to an answer that you’re both happy with.

“I think that you get the best of both worlds and that’s what works for us.

Discussing the difference in design and style choice, the presenter added: “Scarlette is very loud and colourful and bold and brave, whereas I tend to be less so.”

On Sunday night, Scarlette broke down in tears, explaining to Ant and Dec she wasn’t ready to leave camp.

After her exit, the hosts sat down with Scarlette as she discussed her time in the jungle.

The comedy duo asked the campmate about the tension in camp regarding the cooking.

“It’s quite difficult especially when people are [getting involved] when they can’t cook,” she explained.

She later added: “I felt the pressure when I was made camp chef with Owen [Warner].”

Dec weighed in: “You seemed on edge when Charlene [White] told you how to cook a cabbage.”

I’m very good with [conflict]. ‘It is what it is’ and walk away,” Scarlette laughed. “I don’t like to react to things.”

I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! airs weekdays at 9pm on ITV.
