STRICTLY Come Dancing's head judge Shirley Ballas has made a major confession about her toyboy lover.
Last month, the BBC show star, 63, exclusively told The Sun of her "unconventional" relationship with Danny Taylor, aged 50.
Now Shirley – who has been dating Danny for five years after meeting him in a pantomime – has put paid to rumours of their split, despite only seeing him once in three months.
They have only enjoyed one bit of quality time together since August, when the Liverpool-born star undertook a Skyathlon challenge for mental health charity CALM.
She told Heat Magazine of the reason for their lack of date days and said: "He's just as busy as well. He’s currently doing a play called By The Waters of Liverpool, and he’s also got a 13-year-old son.
"We talk regularly on the phone, so I suppose you could say we have a good FaceTime relationship. But it works.

"I’m not interested in getting another boyfriend, and he’s not interested in getting another girlfriend."
Earlier this year, Shirley opened up on their partnership to The Sun and told how marriage wasn't on the cards.
She said: "We have a unique, unconventional relationship. It’s built on trust.
"It is what it is, and I’m happy with the way it is."

The dancing queen added: "There is no point in being under each other’s feet when you haven’t got time for each other. At our age, it works."
Shirley and Danny have been dating since 2019 after they worked together in a pantomime production of Jack And The Beanstalk.
They made their red carpet debut as a couple the same year.
Danny revealed he had no idea who she was when they first met, as he'd never seen an episode of Strictly.
Yet like Shirley, he is a trained dancer in ballroom, tap and waltz and even released an album in 2015 called The Party Is Over
Shirley’s own family is growing too as her son Mark — a pro dancer who won the US version of Strictly last year — is expecting a baby with wife BC Jean in LA, where they live.
