EASTENDERS fans have predicted a twist after Freddie Slater opened up to Jean in emotional scenes.
Viewers of the long-running BBC One soap watched as Freddie confided in his grandmother.
The scenes kicked off as Jean commented on Freddie's intelligence after he messed up with two dates he planned.
It sparked a conversation between the pair as he revealed he was being bullied in school.
"It's hard for me to focus, it's all this rubbish running around my mind, like fireworks, made it impossible for me to know what we were doing so I chose to mess around instead," he said.
He went on to say how his geography teacher humiliated him in class by making him write on the whiteboard how he was 'lazy', 'destructive' and 'stupid'.

Jean then told her grandson how special he was and how her life changed for the better after he arrived in Walford.
Following the heart-to-heart, viewers at home were left in tears – but many are predicting a twist.
They took to social media to say how it now seems that Freddie is neurodivergent.
The term means someone's brain processes, learns and behaves differently to what would be considered 'normal'.

Taking to social media, one fan said: "Freddie to be diagnosed with something neurodivergent, he's one of us."
A second said: "That scene with Jean & Freddie had me sobbing Jean's words. Sounds like Freddie has ADHD & I hope they do a sl where he gets assessed & diagnosed."
"I've actually got tears with Freddie’s and Jeans scene. That would always be me and my mum. I would be called stupid/thick/dumb but it was years and years of me not knowing I was dyslexic," said a third.
While a fourth commented: "'I'm peeling onions over Jean and Freddie. Reckon Freddie is dyslexic, ADHD, Aspergers but whatever the situation he is everything that Jean said, the sweetest, kindest, funniest person on the square.
EastEnders airs on BBC One and iPlayer.
