Tonight’s Emmerdale ended in shocking scenes as Jacob Gallagher (Joe-Warren Plant) was stabbed by drug dealer Callum (Tom Ashley).

Jacob was left furious when he discovered Leyla (Roxy Shahidi) with a bag of cocaine, after undergoing treatment for her addiction.

She insisted that it wasn’t what it looked like, but Jacob knew what he had seen, and proceeded to search the house for any sign of more drugs.

Once his search was over, he locked Leyla in her bedroom, and demanded that she go cold turkey.

Taking her phone, he contacted her drug dealer and asked to meet up.

When they came face to face, Jacob warned Callum to stay away from his mum.

Callum was quick to ask what would happen if he didn’t, and was stunned when Jacob pulled out a knife.

Soon after, a fight ensued, and, as the pair wrestled for control of the weapon, it was revealed that Jacob had been stabbed.

Horrified by what he’d done, Callum ran back to his car, leaving Jacob alone and bleeding in the middle of nowhere.

Will Jacob be able to call for help before he succumbs to his injury?

And how will Leyla feel in the aftermath?
