Lola (Danielle Harold) and Jay (Jamie Borthwick) were reunited recently in EastEnders after her shocking experience when Jonah’s thugs burst into Peggy’s and tried to force her to open the safe.

Lola was taken to hospital following this ordeal, and Jay and Billy (Perry Fenwick) followed behind. Billy did a spot of match-making, suggesting to Lola that she should take a chance on rekindling her romance with Jay.

When she got home she decided to follow Billy’s advice. Reminiscing with Jay about how happy they’d been in the past, the two ended up kissing and agreed to give their relationship another try.

Unfortunately in coming episodes it looks like Jay is more enthusiastic about the reunion than Lola is. He worries whether Lola is really committed to the relationship when he suggests that they should tell Lexi (Isabella Brown) they’re back together, but Lola seems resistant to the idea.

Things look to be back on an even keel when he gives her a necklace as a gift and they embrace – but Lola seems to be tense that someone will see them.
