Spoilers: Rooftop drama for Alfie as Kat gets a shock in EastEnders

The roof of the Queen Vic can be a dangerous place, as every EastEnders fan knows. Who could forget Bradley Branning (Charlie Clements) accidentally plunging to his death from the pub roof during a special live episode in 2010 for the show’s 25th anniversary?

Years later Bradley’s sisters also fell from the same roof after trying to talk their dad Max (Jake Wood) down from the edge.

In upcoming episodes it’s Alfie Moon (Shane Richie) who finds himself stuck on one of the most dangerous places in Albert Square. How he gets there isn’t exactly clear, but it does have

something to do with Linda Carter (Kellie Bright), with whom Alfie has been minding the pub while Mick (Danny Dyer) is on holiday with Janine (Charlie Brooks).

It seems that the greatest danger Alfie faces by being stuck on the roof is from Kat (Jessie Wallace). He’s supposed to be picking up Tommy (Sonny Kendall), and when he doesn’t show up Kat is naturally furious that he’s let her son down once again.

Linda tries to explain to Kat that she’s the one at fault because she’s the reason Alfie was on the roof. Hopefully by now Alfie is back on ground level but he’s probably keeping a low profile until Kat calms down.

Can Alfie ever prove to Kat that he’s someone she can rely on? Or will he carrying on messing up?
