Sean Tully (Antony Cotton) got an unexpected shock in Friday’s edition of Coronation Street, when son Dylan (Liam McCheyne) admitted he’d rather live in Weatherfield than return home to London.

It left Sean stunned as for so long, Dylan has visited the cobbles for a few weeks, enjoyed spending time with his dad and friends in Manchester, and then their lives would go back to ‘normal’.

As a new week begins, Sean confides in Eileen (Sue Cleaver), telling her that Dylan wants to move to Weatherfield permanently.

Later on, Dylan admits that he lied about being bullied at school because he wants to stay with his dad.

Sean agrees to give Violet – Dylan’s mum – a call, but what will she say?

If Dylan moves in with his dad, Eileen, Todd (Gareth Pierce), George (Tony Maudsley), Mary (Patti Clare) and now Glenda (Jodie Prenger) (did not think the list would be that long), what will he get up to?

A few weeks ago, Dylan mentioned that he had started spending time with two friends from the precinct – the soap’s brand-new set which will be on our screens in the autumn.

Could Dylan’s new pals be the focus of his first dramatic storyline?
